The George Washington University School of Media and Public Affairs is looking for someone to establish and lead our new Executive Education program. This person will have primary responsibility for formulating and implementing a two-phase comprehensive business plan. First, for the design and launch of several open enrollment courses beginning in summer/fall 2013 for mid-career professionals. In phase two, the program will be expected to generate sustainable revenue and margin and serve as a foundation for future organizational growth. The Director will analyze competitive programs, engage in course design, hire instructors and faculty as appropriate and be responsible for increasing revenue, competitive advantage, budgeting, marketing, partnerships, expansion, and overall quality and differentiation.

Part of the Columbian College of Arts and Sciences, we are a dynamic interdisciplinary program where media, public affairs and politics intersect. Our faculty is composed of cutting-edge scholars and award-winning journalists whose research, creative work and teaching focus on political communication, journalism in the digital age and the rapidly changing global media landscape.
