Combine the excitement of Spring Break in Paris with a three-credit course focused on the changing global communications scene.

During the spring vacation - March 10-16, 2013 - students will meet and talk with some two dozen global media leaders: journalists, execs, scholars, and diplomats. Meeting in studios, labs, classrooms, offices and private homes, students will have a rare opportunity to go "behind the scenes."

Come to our last information session:

Monday, November 5, 2012
7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
MPA 429

For six years, the Paris seminar has been part of a three-credit course (SMPA 3195, "Globalization and the Media"), open to all GW students and taught by Professor Lee Huebner.

Because this course centers on a week-long study abroad session, you must apply online through GW's Study Abroad Office. The Washington portion of the course will meet once every two weeks before and after spring break; students can enroll in one of two sections, both on Wednesdays, either from 9:35 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. OR from 5:10 p.m. to 6:25 p.m.

For more details, contact Professor Huebner at huebner@gwu.edu or visit our page on the SMPA website.
