Yesterday evening, our newest Master's Degree candidates mixed and mingled with second-year SMPA graduate students and a number of professors from our department to celebrate the new academic year.

Over drinks and hors d'oeuvre in the SMPA lobby, our professors shared their areas of expertise with our incoming class, while second-year students shared their insights on the program.  SMPA Director Frank Sesno praised the new graduate students as the strongest class yet admitted to the selective Master’s program.  He also introduced the new Director of Graduate Programs for the SMPA, Professor Sean Aday, who extended a warm welcome to all present.

After an enjoyable reception, the freshly-minted graduate students left to attend their first classes, encouraged by the support and kind words they received.
