Dean Barratt and other exhibit visitors in Classroom 102.

Sculptures, photographs, paintings, ceramics—the new exhibit in Classroom 102 has it all!

Classroom 102—GW’s student run art gallery—opened the 2010 annual Department of Fine Arts and Art History Award Show this week, and the creative pieces by our students are as diverse and intriguing as the students themselves.

Out of 130 submissions to the show, 36 were chosen for exhibition by visiting judge Hannah Higgins, associate professor of art history at the University of Illinois. Eight student artists received awards ranging from $600 to $1,500.

The exhibit is amazing! Stop by and take a look at the work of our incredibly talented students.
